COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Within the past 26 years of service as a realtor, I have been involved with various community services as a volunteer. This is personally very important to me because my community is the context of my life and business.
   I am dedicated to helping those less fortunate as well as supporting the multicultural community. During the winter months of 2005-2011, I’ve collected an average of 135 bags a year of warm blankets and sweaters for those in need in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Currently, I am privileged to support a multicultural community development team that works among new immigrants in the Metro Vancouver Area.
     Since 2008, I’ve also been a volunteer with the Union Gospel Mission. We are currently running a capital campaign to fund raise the cost of a $31 Million dollar multi-purpose community centre. The centre’s purpose will be focused on sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, taking sex trade workers off the streets, and supporting addict-free lifestyles in our community.

It’s a good feeling to share our time, talents, and treasures with other people in need.
